Mark has took the Democrats off the official-inside the system ways and means of politics so many times, it is a wonder how he could come around and ask with a straight face for a house dissolution and an election. Meaning while Mark says the government has no legitimacy to govern, one can also ask Mark about all the time the Democrats supports the PAD and how that also points to Mark having no right at all to ask for an election. It is getting to the point the democrats spends more time with the PAD on the streets, than inside parliament house. Moreover, Mark may think he is popular and can win the election. But to some people, even long time supporter to Mark and the Democrats, there are some strong questions today about Mark’s ability to lead. Prachak, a political scientist lecturer at Thamasart and long-time supporter of the Democrat party said that Mark had led the Democrats down the wrong road. "I speak because I am worried that Mark is getting confused about the role of the democrat party-the party must work through Parliament and not as it is doing by going about gaining power by manipulating events on the streets." He added that, “If the Democrats continue to play street politics, it will go down in history as being a party that contributed to the political conflict in Thailand….I don’t think a political party that is an institution like the Democrat Party can keep playing politics like children(5555+) and go on attacking the government hoping the attack makes it weak enough for Mark to step in." Prachak said that he understands the frustration Mark has with doing it by the books and under the rules, because the government clearly has the majority and at most times the government doesn’t respond. However, Prachak said that it is also the democrat fault’s for keep walking out when the going gets tough. "How many times in the past three to four years have you seen the democrats walk out of the political process. When you do that often enough, it is meaningless because everyone expects you to run away, no matter what the reason is. mark needs to roll up his sleeves and attack the problem from inside, meaning be a part of the check and balance on the government, instead of always walking out to protest and then going to the streets." Concerning walking out, Prachak also said he understands the democrats position that the government of Somchai now has no legitimacy in governing for what occurred on October 7th, however, he urged the democrats to grow-up and have more maturity and patience. "Everyone saw on TV what happened and clearly the PAD also used violence and so to come out and pretend all the blame belongs to the government is childish .(ฮุย ฮาๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ) We have to wait first for all those studies into what occurred to be completed first and then also what people say and feel about what happened must also be taken into account….If the finding is that the government is wrong, then how wrong is it, or if it is only partially wrong, or if everyone did wrong. These are questions that needs to be answered and listened to, before deciding to boycott the government." Prachak also said Mark is drawn to be an ally of the PAD is thinking short-term. "PAD is very strong in the South and with some minorities in Bangkok, but generally the people of Bangkok are negative voters meaning they vote so that nobody gains too much power, and even when they vote for you, often it is not because they support anyone in particular, but because they think it is the best choice. So someone better can just come around and take all your votes away overnight. Mark must be careful because he is now seen as the PM of the PAD and clearly, that is short term thinking because the PAD is only a political force and not a political party." Prachak said Mark must also be very careful in backing PAD because Thailand has 60 million people and about 30 million voters and not all of them supports PAD. "Mark risks Democrats being seen as a party that represents special interest, not the people. Like myself, I am disappointed by Mark because he should have more maturity and character. I believe many other people also feel the same way but they support mark as a way to counter-balance the power of the PPP. I continue to support Mark and the Democrat Party, but I look at Obarma, who is running for president in the US and apart from being a highly skilled speaker like Mark, but Obama also has vision, the right policy, character and maturity to lead all Americans not just part of it. I only wish Mark can learn from Obama." All in all, this webmarter humble opinion is, "If you don’t play by the rules and stick to the game, you don’t have the right, to ask for to play a new game." It just shows Mark’s bad form! โธ่ โถ แล้วนี่มารกจะเอาหน้าไปไว้ที่ไหนดีเนี่ย จะจับผิด แกรมมาฝรั่งด้วยหรือเปล่าฮึ |
